Every consultation leaves paperwork behind: reports, letters to colleagues, records to keep. It gets done in the evening after the last patient, or squeezed between two appointments. Generic dictation tools fail here for two reasons: an operative report tolerates no approximation, and doctors in Morocco switch between darija and French mid-sentence. Neither off-the-shelf transcription nor a secretary retyping notes solves both.
We built Doctalis around the consultation itself rather than around a text editor. Recording starts at the beginning of the session; the pipeline handles code-switched audio, then a specialty-aware generation step produces a structured report with medical terms in the right sections. The doctor keeps the last word: proofread, correct in seconds, sign, export. Nothing leaves the practice without a human validation step.
